F First National Competition for Student Projects  “Demonstration Models for Educational Purposes” - 20-22 March 2008, Blagoevgrad

Eco Energy Foundation was the main organizer of the First National Competition for Student Projects “DEMONSTRATION MODELS FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES”.

The competition held in the City Museum of Blagoevgrad from 20 to 22 March 2008. The event took place under the patronage of Blagoevgrad district Governor Mr. Vladimir Dimitrov.

Over 60 participants from the whole country presented their projects. The competent jury headed by Prof. Stefan Manev (Head of Department of Chemistry, South-West University) awarded 6 projects in 2 categories.

The winners Paulina Ganchovska from Sofia and Mario Rusev from Sevlievo were selected to present our Foundation on the 17^th International Research Projects Exhibition in Istanbul, Turkey.

The competition was sponsored by Cyberia Ltd. and Prestige Business Ltd.

F Youth Competition “Eco Energy 21 Century – I Have an Idea!!!” - 17 February  2006, Blagoevgrad

Regional Youth Competition “ECO ENERGY 21 CENTURY – I HAVE AN IDEA!!!” was organized by Eco Energy Foundation. The event was dedicated to the World Year of Physics. The competition took place in Blagoevgrad on 17^th of February 2006.

The winners Desislava Nikolova and Eleonora Daleva were selected to present their project on the forthcoming National Competition “Young Talents”.

The competition was sponsored by Cyberia Ltd and Pi Mark Ltd.

F MEF-EBAV International Research Projects Exhibition   -   Istanbul, Turkey      2007   -   2008

Representatives of Eco Energy Foundation took part in the 16^th and 17^th International Research Projects Exhibition, organized by Turkish foundation MEF-EBAV.

Both projects “DEMONSTRATION MODEL OF ECO ENERGY SYSTEM” (May 2007) and “FROM LIVING CELL TO BIOFUEL CELLS” (May 2008) were met with a great interest from the big audience of exhibitions.

F Science teaching festival “science on Stage’2” - Grenoble, France, 2-6 April 2007

The President of Eco Energy Foundation Prof.Dr. Mario Mitov was a member of Bulgarian delegation on Science teaching festival “SCIENCE ON STAGE’2”, held in Grenoble, France from 2 to 6 April 2007.

During the festival Prof. Mitov led a workshop “DEMONSTRATION MODELS OF HIGH-TECHNOLOGIES FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES” and presented a project “DEMONSTRATION MODELS OF HIGH TECHNOLOGIES FOR GREEN ENERGY PRODUCTION” on stand.

Prof. Mitov was awarded with the second prize from the International Steering Committee of the festival.

F National festival “science on Stage’2” - Sevlievo, 10-12 November 2006

A team, supported by Eco Energy Foundation, presented a project “DEMONSTRATION MODEL OF ECO ENERGY SYSTEM” on the National festival “SCIENCE ON STAGE’2” in Sevlievo, 10-12 November 2006. The project was nominated for participation in the European teaching festival “SCIENCE ON STAGE’2”.

F Mini Science Expo - Budapest, Hungary, 30 March - 3 April 2005

A team of Eco Energy Club took part in the Mini Science Expo in Budapest, Hungary, 30 March-3 April 2005, organized by "Layosh Koshut Club".

During Expo, Dr. Mario Mitov had fruitful discussions with representatives of organizations from Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republik, Belgium, etc. as well as European Youth Organization MILSET for further collaboration.

F National Competition on Natural Sciences & Ecology   -   2006, Dobrich   -   2007, Etropole

Two student projects, supported by Eco Energy Foundation, were presented on National Competition on Natural Sciences & Ecology held in Dobrich, November 2006 and Etropole, October 2007.

The project “ECO ENERGY SYSTEM – THE KEY TO THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF OUR PLANET”, presented by Desislava Nikolova and Eleonora Daleva won the 1^st prize on the competition in Dobrich and nominated to present the country on the 16^th MEF-EBAV International Research Projects Exhibition in Istanbul, Turkey.

The second project “ELECTRICITY FROM WASTES – DREAM OR REALITY?!” was awarded with a special prize of the jury on the competition held in Etropole.

F National Competition “Young Talents”   -   2004   -   2005   -   2006

Members of Eco Energy Club, division of Eco Energy Foundation, took part in three subsequent issues of the National Competition “Young Talents”.

In 2004, a team of two students from South-West University and one pupil from High School of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Blagoevgrad, won the second prize with the project “Demonstration Fuel Cell for Educational Purposes”. The team was selected to represent Bulgaria on the Expo Science Europe (ESE), held in Dresden, Germany from 7 to 15 July 2004.

In 2005, the project “FUEL CELL BASED ON BIOCHEMICAL REACTIONS” was also awarded with the second prize and presented on the European Competition “Young Scientists” in Moscow, Russia.

In 2006, the project "ECO ENERGY SYSTEM – THE KEY TO THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF OUR PLANET” was awarded with a special prize.

F National Youth Exhibition “EXPO INTELECT’2004” - Sofia, 30 November - 5 December 2004

After successful presentation on ESE’2004 in Dresden, the team of Eco Energy Club was invited and took part in the National Youth Exhibition “EXPO INTELECT’2004”, held in Technical University of Sofia from 30 November to 5 December 2004.

During exhibition, the team presented its project “DEMONSTRATION FUEL CELL” on stand as well as report “DO WE KNOW THE FUEL CELL TECHNOLOGY?”.

F Expo Science Europe (ESE) - Dresden, Germany, 7-15 July 2004

After getting award from National competition “Young Talents’2004”, the team of Eco Energy Club represented Bulgaria on ESE’2004. The Expo held in the new Congress Center in Dresden, Germany, from 7 to 15 July 2004.

The presented model of Demonstration Fuel Cell was met with a great interest from the visitors of Expo. Several companies were interested in development and production of the prototype.
